[SOLVED] Fans from different brands on a single rgb fan hub

Can I add fans from 2 different brands to a single rgb fan hub to be synced by the motherboard software ?
For example can I add a deepcool cf120 and coolermaster Masterfan mf120r to a coolermaster rgb fan hub and then connect to my 3 pin rgb header on my motherboard ?

I'd say: No.

CM RGB LED controller has proprietary ports and they are compatible only with CM RGB fans.
