Hey, I was playing CSGO and noticed that my fans suddenly went really fast as I could hear it from the case, then a second later went slow again and basically repeated.
GPU: r9 280x cpu: i5 4590 ram: 8gb Hard drive: 1tb caviar blue
It's been working fine then just randomly started doing that, what should I do?

I did a furmard and 3dmark test and the fans were working normal. After a while of playing Csgo it started to do that...

Thanks

May want to try some software while running csgo in windowed mode to monitor fan RPMs for both CPU and GPUs. Should be a way in the software to log the changes to see which fan is speeding up and slowing down. I know GPU-Z can log this type of info, though I haven't tried it on Radeon cards.

That's the thing, i'm not really sure which one is the problem. I did a furmark and 3dmark test and they sounded fine, then did a cpu burner test and it was okay. A while after playing csgo and it does that noise. :/

No other games have done this. Maybe it's cause i've only played csgo recently and it happens after a while of being ingame. I was playing fallout 4 and black ops 3 this month but I didn't notice any changes regarding the fans speed. The only driver i've updated recently was upgrading to crimson but that was a few months ago. Thanks again :)
