Question Fans going full 100% then slowing down to normal followed by game crash?

Essenntially what the title says. I go into skyrim SE, and the fans spin up like crazy, then shortly it crashes. At first i thought it was my display drivers, but even after several different versions, the issue persists. I have brand new thermal paste on it...and the pc is only a year at max old
Specs:I7-8700k
Evga Ftw z370
700w antec psu
Cooler master ml240 rgb
Rx580 Msi gaming x 8gb (the one 8 pin variant)

Honestly have no idea whats causing this....

Update: reset bios and it no longer spins the fans to 100%, but my display drivers (i assume) are crashing seconds after playing the game. Ive tried 5 clean installs and different drivers, but nothing.

Go into AMD Settings, WattMan tab, scroll down to Power Limit and slide it to the max value. Then try gaming. Any improvement?
