Hi
I'm thinking of buying Phanteks Eclipse P350X RGB case and would really appreciate help through someone advising whether I've selected fans that will be right for the case. My motherboard is Asrock's Z370 Pro 4 which doesn't have rgb headers. I thought two Be Quiet Silent Wings 3 140mm PWM for AUD $29 each or two Fractal Design Venturi HP140 PWM $19 on special each (intake) along with a 120mm exhaust same brand as the Be Quiet or Fractal. I was partial to using Corsair's HD120 RGB led PWM fan with controller for the back exhaust to provide some colour.
Would my first preference with Corsair's RGB 120mm PWM fan in the exhaust and two front 140 (Be Quiet or Fractal) PWM in the front work or should I forget the RGB and just buy a led kit. Also do I need anything to attach to the fans & fan headers?
I hope this all makes sense & you haven't fallen asleep. As you can probably tell I'm new to all of this.

Phanteks own 140mm PWM fans are extremely quiet, and you realise the case already has a 120mm front fan.......

I am sitting 1m away from a Phantek case, and I can JUST hear the sound of the 200mm intake fan, which is the noisiest in the case; even then, it is so quiet, that ambient noise from outside is often louder. The rear 140mm PWM is at full RPM, and I cannot hear anything unless I put my ear within 10cm of it, and then it is just a gentle hiss.

Thank you Captain for your help. Silly me didn't realise Phantek's premium fans are PWM - I should have had a look at their website.
Could someone please tell me if their Enthoo Pro M tg edition is too large if water cooling is not used. I don't want it to look silly.
Thanks again.

The Enthoo comes in full and midi tower sizes; I have the full tower, which looks HUGE when you open the box, but you soon get used to it.

The M version is exactly the same as the non M version, except most of the HDD and SSD caddies arent included; if you want lots of drives, go for the full version, as the cost of the extra caddies is far more than the difference in price; in fact you can sometimes find the full versions on sale for LESS than the M version, especially "Titanium Green"; which is really black with a faint green sheen when in bright sunlight.

Finally, the bigger the case, the better the cooling, and the easier it is to get everything neat.

I didn't realise I had extras to buy such as what you explained. I'm having the pc shop build my computer so I need the right pieces.
Would I be better buying the P350X for this reason and adding just Phanteks 120mm PWM fans to the case. I'm not into gaming at this stage. Thanks again Captain.

The P350X is still a pretty big case, and seems to be based on the Enthoo design; if you dont intend gaming, you might find the included fan is enough. If you are worried, add a fan at the rear of the case
