Fans not spinning?

So i recently bought a gtx 1060. And when i boot it up the fans are not spinning, and i don't want to game on it till the fans are spinning or are all the Pascal Archetitcture GPU's designed like that that the fans spin till it hits a certain temperature?

There are big coolers on these new cards and the fans will only spin when they reach a certain temperature you can adjust this with MSI afterburner even if you do not have an msi card the link is here https://www.msi.com/page/afterburner just click downloads should be good hope you enjoy.

Careful the Nvidia new line doesn't like the FAN on all the time, and actually has been manufactured on a lesser 'scale' of materials that you would 'burn out' the Fan by forcing it ON all the time.

How do I know? Because I already had this experiance with the newer Gen cards AND there been plenty of threads discussing the issues in comparison to previous 'cooler' systems. Alot attribute it to the much hotter temps the card now can attain very quickly and believe the ONLY solution really is water cooled platforms now not the 'old' card - fan style many are used to (aka OEM) .
