fans not working in new case

hello, i have now got the case and have switched the cases and the thing i used for the power sw +, - and that i used the front panel that was this: http://prntscr.com/doo8ai
but there still is a problem with the case fans, i have 4 now but only one of them is working, i plugged the fan wires in a loose plug for the wires to go together, 2 of the fans had those little plugs which are the most common in fans but one fan had a long 4 pin plug which i plugged into the loose plug for that which goes somewhere to the top of the case(all of the loose plugs go to the top of the case).

the fan that works is plugged in straight to my motherboard, where my old fan in my old dell case was plugged in, the reason i didnt plug the other case fans in the motherboard is because there wasnt any plug for them on the mobo.

i think the problem might be that i didnt put the hdd led and some connectors in the right place on the front panel, because there is supposed to be led from the front fan but there isnt any led coming from it.

this is the cable arrangement that worked for the front panel, tried this arrangement first and it worked, so i havent tried any other order for the power +, - etc. ...... http://prntscr.com/doocrl

Your text is really hard to understand..
From what I understood you have 2 problems:

1. You didnt connect your HDD led plugs and somewhat properly. That second picture is pretty straightforward as to show how you should plug it in. Once you plug it as that picture shows, all should work.

2. You have more fans and no place to plug them in your motherboard. Only one 4pin (PWM) plug. your only chance here is to buy a fan controler. Something like this for example: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/dQ8Zxr/nzxt-fan-controller-acsen3b1
Don´t try to connect more fans to that plug (by connecting wires to one another or something like that).

And the Fan Led and Fan Rotation are powered by the same cable. Only one cable to your fan. If it doesn´t light up, it probably doesn´t work anymore.

hello and thank you for your answer, just to make it clear the problem was that the fans arent working except the one that is connected to the motherboard, and that the led on the fan in the front doesnt light up.

i am definitely now gonna buy a fan controller if i need to but i have four questions,

1. do all of the fans come with these ports like this: http://www.acousticpc.com/images/a_zalman_zm-mfc1_fan_controller_back_view.jpg (i only need one of the long ones and two of the little ones(PWM))

2. can i place them in my pc in the disc drive slot?

3. is this what all people do when they dont have enough 4pin connectors(PWM) in their motherboard or is this just one of some things that you can do?

4. do the fan controllers have a power cable or something or do they just need to connect to the fans?

1. Yes, all the fans have either a 3pin or a 4pin connector. you can connect a 3 pin fan to a 4pin connector. The main difference is that the 3 pin manages speed by varying the voltage while the 4 pin uses pulse width modulation which allows you also to spin your fans lower than 50%, while loosing less power and gaining efficiency. When connected to your Motherboard, you can manage speed in BIOS or on some Fan management software usually provided by your Motherboard manufacturer.

2. Yes, they are usually the same size as an internal DVD burner, so you can put it on a 5.25 inch bay on your case although there are ones that occupy 2 bay or also external controlers.

3. yes. if you don´t have enough connectors you need a fan controller. There are also fans that can connect directly to your Power Supply Unit (PSU) but they will spin full speed all the time.

4. A fan controller needs to be powered by your PSU.

i took a look at what you said "There are also fans that can connect directly to your Power Supply Unit (PSU) but they will spin full speed all the time." and so i saw that i owned cables for my PSU that had 4 holes in them and then i tried connecting that from my PSU to my pc case cable that is suppose to connect to the fan and then that cable to my case fan cable, so it looked like "PSU 4pin cable>case 4pin cable>case fan 4pin cable" and it worked and now every fan in my pc is working, also the led light in the front.

i saw that i owned cables for my PSU that had 4 holes in them and then i tried connecting that from my PSU to my pc case cable that is suppose to connect to the fan and then that cable to my case fan cable, so it looked like "PSU 4pin cable>case 4pin cable>case fan 4pin cable" and it worked and now every fan in my pc is working, also the led light in the front.
