Hello Everyone,

Could someone please let me know why the fans here are showing 0% whereas the fans are spinning fine inside the case....also please tell me whether these voltage values are fine....i have build my first pc..so confused about the readings...any help will be appreciated...

my specs are
ASUS M5A97 PRO 2.0
AMD FX-8350
GTX 660 SYNERGY EDITION
CORSAIR VENGEANCE 4X2 RAM
CORSAIR VS-550 PSU
COOLER MASTER K280 CASE

CPU FANS (PUSH PULL)
COOLER MASTER HYPER 212x (STOCK FAN)
DEEPCOOL XFAN120 (SECONDARY FAN)

ADDITIONAL FANS: COOLER MASTER SICKLE FLOW 120mm x 2

please check the screeshots attached here

Because the fans aren't plugged into the motherboard.

I bet you connected them directly to the powersupply, so the motherboard can't connect to them and read them.

It's not an issue really though, they'll run at their maximum speeds most likely all the time is all.

just now i noticed the other fan in the hyper 212x is having a 3 pin and 4pin molex connector to the power supply....i found deepcool doesnt have 4 pins like the stock fan of hyper 212x ...which may be the reason for the 0% message...also i checked with fan bearings on my mobo there 4 connectors with one for cpu fan in which i have connected the hyper 212x fan and rest three are labelled as chassis fans and among those three i have connected my deepcool to one....so i believe in order to get the rpm readings i need to use a better fan with 4 pin type...please correct me if i m wrong....thanks

Are they molex or pwm fans?
