Fans speed up on shutdown

Hey there,

I just installed windows 10 on my pc and I notice that all my fans will rev up when i shutdown or restart.

Is this a new feature that I can disable or am I looking at a problem here?

Did you come from Windows 7? Starting with Windows 8.1, a feature known as hybrid shutdown became a default-enabled option. Hybrid shutdown causes your computer to save some of the most essential kernel components and services to your hard drive, the process of which can in some cases cause the fans to speed up for a bit.
