Question Fans won't stop spinning on RTX 3070 Ti Founders Edition ?

Hi.

I purchased an RTX 3070ti Founders edition a week ago, everything seemed fine. My fans would not kick until the gpu temps went above roughly 50 degrees. I changed my AIO cooler yesterday to an NZXT X53 and noticed that my gpu fans are constantly running. Even with the fan at idle temps of 40 degrees they are spinning at around 1000rpm. Can anyone advise why this might be happening.?

What's the make and Model of your power supply unit/PSU ? Provide full PC specs as well. Try to reseat the GPU firmly back on the motherboard's PCIe slot, and check all the PCIE power cables connected to the GPU from the PSU.

I don’t have a 3070ti, but does the founders edition have zero rpm mode? If not then gpu fans really will constantly run…

I have a Corsair RM850, ASU’s Strix Z490-G gaming motherboard, Intel i9 10900F, Klevv 3600mhz 32GB Ram, NZXT X53 AIO.
I did unplug the gpu and plug it back in along with the disconnected the power cables and connected again.

It must do as I mentioned the fans were not spinning below 50 degrees.

oh, forgive me. i didn't read thoroughly.

Check the NZXT CAM software see if the fan control has reverted to that.

I opened up NZXT CAM but can't see anywhere that CAM is controlling the fan speed. I did try to uninstall CAM but the fan was still spinning on the gpu.
