this is probably going to be a stupid question i just finished building my pc and i ran into a fan problem on my old case i had a LED fan that i would like to put on because i do not have one and on my motherboard i have a connection for a 4 pin and my fan connection has 5 holes to insert the pins will this not be compatible?

Can't see the picture but any 5pin fan must have come from some brand name computer and will not be directly compatible with 3 or 4 pin headers in off the shelf MBs.
