I recently tried playing Far Cry 3 on my computer and it starts out all good and fine. Then it gets to the first chapter, and it starts lagging majorly. It would seem like its 5 fps when it starts lagging. My graphics card is Pretty good i guess, its kinda out dated. It runs 2 monitors perfectly fine. Can you please tell me what i can do to make it not lag on far cry 3? I run most games 50fps without lag at all.

Solution
You tell us how much you can spend and importantly, what kind of power supply you have(Combined 12 volt current is important on multi-rail power supplies. It is not always just and add them up thing. many times it should be its own rating.).

Power supply rating example image.

We can then see what you can get.

We also need to know if it is SLIM or the NORMAL version because if it is SLIM we need to find you a LOW PROFILE graphics card because the standard one will NOT FIT BECAUSE IT IS TOO BIG.

Edit: Did not see the 580s on the pictures sorry. As people have already pointed out, you need a low profile graphics card because your Power Supply is not very good. Either of these are good choices based on what I could find.

damn this got away while I was gone.

I have yet to see a power supply image yet. Best googling gives me is a 18 amp or 216 watts @ 12 volts. Not quite high, but should still pull off a 7750 card(since the rest of the system is power friendly).

I want to hear it from you as far as how much power it has.

The reason for the image is to know how much of the total power will be delivered to the 12 volt rail(s). I have seen 400-500 watt power supplies with less power then the 300 image I linked.

The system seems to be slim line so for SURE you will want a low profile card.

Normal card, next to it is a low profile card(ignore the fact that one is PCI-E and AGP).

This is why we here to help. Theres a sticker on your power supply..Its the big box with cables coming out of it take a picture or tell us the watts plus # of amps on the +12 volt then we can help alot better

So you guys were right and Dell failed to come through with getting the right Graphics card to fit the computer. So what i'm doing to be able to use the 7770 hd radeon, is buy a whole new case and a new power supply which will be 650W instead of 250W which is what my computer has.
Already checked to see if my Dell mother board that has the special 1156 slot for my i5 is a ATX or micro ATX so it fits in normal boxes.(it's an ATX)

Yeah Dell failed extremely. The psu has lifetime warranty with the site, so if anything happens i can send it back over and over.
