My gtx 670 only get around 45-50 fps maxed out playing far cry 3 on dx11 ultra settings.
i have on evga gtx 660 ftw signature 2 between 40-42fps average fps on 1080/ultra settings.
someone told me on other forum to change dx from 11 to 9 then there will be much better fps and difference would be just some shadows. havent tried it yet, will do it tomorrow

Thats a very good rate for your card. FC3 is a very graphic-intense game and it needs at least an HD 7950 Superclocked or HD 7970 to play it smoothly on Ultra.
But he is playing only at 1366 X 768 resolution and also dx9...
@vik - Is this the only game you are facing problems or all games are performing poorly??
Also post your system config....
my card is very similar to OP and i get 35 fps on high settings on dx 11 on 1440*900 .
so i suggest OP to reduce the settings from ultra to high and completely disable msaa for getting 40-50 fps
Farcry 3 is a pretty intense game as others have said even the top tier cards have issues maxing out the game I wouldn't look at it to harshly if you are able to play on decently high settings and it remains playable I think you are golden. Also keep in mind that FPS's tend to be a bit more taxing requirement wise.

no, in other games like metro 2033 i am getting 40-45fps on max settings on dx10, and my cpu in pentium g630

no, 7770 is significantly faster than your 7750 and if you are able to run it at high settings then i should be getting at least 30 fps on ultra dx9

Thn in that case there is no problem with your system i guess...
I would suggest you to reduce your graphics to medium... Far Cry is a very demanding game...
I myself have a gtx660 but i get 50fps only on high settings... Ultra gives me 25fps...
The game is pretty much enjoyable on medium settings too...
There's a huge gap between high and ultra settings. HD 7770 is around 20% faster than HD 7750.
from benchmarks its more like 25-30% and btw i have tweaked some setting now i am getting 34-36fps average on ultra settings at 1366*768 res, hdao, apha to coverage standard and msaa at 2x and dx11
I know this post is old, and I probably won't get a response on it but i must say...I have an Underclocked MSI 7770 a AMD FX 6300 4x Cores and I just cleared Far Cry 3 running it on ultra 60fps and never ever skipped! I and half way through Far Cry 4 running on medium and only have problems with loading time, but the loading times is a personal opinion
The Radeon HD 7770 is an amazing GPU and is the best card for the price ever...Maybe not now because you could grab a 290 or 280 for just about the same price.
The 7770 would horribly SMASH the 7750! It is significantly better than the 7750 and are around the same price!
