[SOLVED] Far Cry 3 poor performance

Hi!

So I wanted to play Far Cry 3 but the game runs not good. I have an RX 5700XT and a Ryzen 5 3600. On max settings the game gets below 75fps a lot of the time and on high settings it still gets below 75 fps. I've heard about far cry games not being that good optimized for ryzen cpu's but Far Cry 5 runs better than far cry 3 which is pretty weird? Is this normal or is there something I can do about it?

update/patch far cry 3 to the latest version

install the latest amd graphics drivers from amd.com

far cry 3 is using a different graphics engine which was used while Ryzen was not out yet. Far Cry 5 "knows" about Ryzen and is more optimized.
