Far Cry 3 Settings I NEED HELP!

Hi.. I recently started playing far cry 3 and Im not having a good time because the game wont run smoothly
soo.. im just wondering if you guys have any suggestions to improve the gameplay

This is my Rig:

CPU - i5 2500k 3.3GHz @ 4.5GHz
RAM - 16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600MHz CL9
MOBO - Asrock Fatal1ty Professional P67 B3
COOLER - Corsair H70
GPU - Asus GTX 660 Ti OC
PSU - OCz ZS Series 750w
HDD - 1TB Seagate Barracuda 7200 RPM
SSD - OCz Solid 120GB SATA 6Gb/s
CASE - Zalman Z11 Plus

Oh and can anyone out there tell me what settings should i run far cry 3 on

Give us some more details, especially what settings you've set. Perhaps use some screen shots.

I play it on ultra settings with aa/off SSAO set to HBAO Vsync/on GPU Max Buffered set to 1 resolution/1080p Alpha To Coverage/ Enhanced Directx 11

Helped me a LOT, basically you are going to need to edit the .xml file.

Disable in game vsync and turn on adaptive vsync in the nvidia control panel if you haven't already. If you haven't, it'll explain why your framerates are dropping. If your framerates drop below 30 fps, the next step they'll hit is 15. Ouch.
