[SOLVED] Far Cry 4- low fps for no reason.

So I recently downloaded Far Cry 4 and there is something very strange about it: it seems that I can't get over 50- 60 fps, plus there's some stuttering. No matter the graphics\ resolution settings.

My pc is-
ryzen 5 2600
16 gb ram
gtx 1070
playing on 1440p (as mentioned above it doesn't make a difference if I switch to 1080p)

I guess I should mention that when I play other titles (CoD Modern Warfare 2019, BF1, AC Odyssey, The Witcher 3...) I get the fps you would expect, no problem getting above 60, and overall a way better experience.

Looking for a solution online I haven't found anything helpful.

Maybe try "your best option is lower your settings , do not use Nvidia geforce experience to optimize your game ,, set your settings manually "

Change fur to another setting other than simulated, that stuff is rough on any system.

If that still doesn't fix or improve performance quite a bit then try not use Game Works feature by Nvidia on some of the settings it's involved in. Nvidia dropped support for it's Game Works thing years ago apparently.

Oh and if you haven't got to Shangri La missions yet and find the game crashes there let me know.
