Far Cry 5 Crashing to Desktop with no errors

Just got my hands on Far Cry 5, but to my disappointment, I can't play the game because after playing like 1-2 minutes it just crashes to Desktop. I have no idea what is causing this issue.

I've tried:
* Uninstalling/Installing the game
* Latest drivers
* Updated BIOS

Specs:

CPU: i5 4690k
GPU: Gigabyte - GeForce GTX 970 4GB WINDFORCE 3X
RAM: 8GB
PSU: 650W (Corsair) I believe

If there is anything more I could add please let me know.

Found some Steam and Ubi forum threads on it. There are many comments from driver rollbacks, to AA or overlays being disabled fixing it.

I would first try disabling Steam and/or Uplay overlays. If that doesn't work try rolling back your driver. If it still crashes try disabling all AA in game. Note that some had to roll back drivers quite a ways for it to stop (Jan 2018, or May 2017).

This sounds to be something Nvidia needs to issue a driver hotfix for.
