So Ubisoft just recently released far cry 5s system requirements I meet all recommended 1080p requirements except I have a gym 10603gb instead of a 4 gb card can I still run the game at max at 1080p? I'm new to pc gaming so I'm not sure

Solution
Dont think that will be a problem.
Those 4gb recommendations are for earlier generations of cards. Current generation tech. are faster and stronger with better linear scaling capability.
The 1060 is available in 3GB and 6GB. The requirements are stating that you need to have 4GB. That being the case, you won't be guaranteed a full 60fps @ 1080p. It mentions a 970 4GB card.... that card does out perform a 1060 3GB, but not by much. So there's a chance you won't take too much of an fps drop.

That depends on your in game settings. You can keep track of your VRAM which
afterburner
refers to as System memory. I can go into the MSI AB settings by pressing the Gear icon and then click on the Monitoring tab. I click on each resource I want to watch and then I click on Show in OSD after I select each resource.

is a result. I was using a 4GB 970. To be clear the performance of the 1060 is closer to the 980 and it certainly performs better with all things being equal. The 1060 is a more powerful GFX card, it has more recent features as well. If the FPS started dropping and I saw that 2743 hit the 3000 mark? I would know the VRAM is the issue.
