FarCry 2 won't run in fullscreen

Whenever I boot up Far Cry 2, it is in windowed mode. And there is no option to enable full screen.

What is the problem here? I played it a few weeks ago with no problem.

open the game then press alt + enter

if that doesnt do it right click game shortcut on desktop left click properties --then under shortcut section and run change it to maximised if its at normal or minimised then apply

If that doesn't help, then check your GPU driver control panel and see if you have unknowingly checked on Force Windowed mode.

There are also a few bugs where you are not able to use certain objects. Just like when you're supposed to pick up the first Jackal tape from that African guy at the hut down by the lake. You are completely unable to click on the tape no matter how hard you try. Thus making it impossible to progress in the game.

Did you try re-installing the game ? Or did you try loading your last previously saved file before the bug occurs ? Have you installed the latest patches ?
