Farcry 5 .NET Framework not installing

So i bought Far cry 5 when it was on sale, but upon installing it when the first time installations popped up, 3 other things installed just fine, but when it got to .NET Framework it just stopped and i have been waiting for it a full day now. I cannot install it manually as i have tried that already.

If there is a known fix for this please let me know

Where did you purchase Farcry? Are you sure that it is a legitimate copy?

I purchased it off the uplay client

Try reinstalling the uplay client.
