Farcry and ATI AIW 9600XT

Ok, will this card run Farcry with good setting or should I buy the AIW9800 to be able to get the max out of this game?

I like the FM tuner, remote wonderII and dual monitor of the 9600XT but, if I'm going to enjoy MUCH more this game with a 9800, then I might just end up buying the 9800. I've seen the game on a 9800 and I must say that this is very impressive!

Somebody can tell me what kind of detail level I can expect?

I played 2 demos of far cry with my oc'ed 9600Pro. I put the settings to very high at 1024x768 and the game runs good at an average 30-40 fps. The game looks nice too.

Actually I wouldn't expect the card to handle very high at 1024/768, maybe very high at 800x600. Because i myself needs at least 40FPS at all times, otherwise i get pissed. And the AIW 9800pro seems to barely handle Very high at 800x600 without going under 40FPS.

So i'm sure you could expect medium and 1024/768, without going under 40FPS.
