Question Farming Simulator 17 won't launch with ethernet connected

Hey, i've been experiencing this issue for a while now. I have a couple of games that will not lauch in multiplayer modes. If i lauch my Farming simulator 17 whilst having ethernet connected, the game crashes instantly. If i unplug ethernet the game launches as it should.
If i start the game without ethernet, and then plugs in ethernet, the game crashes instantly.
I've reintalled the games, verified the games' integrity, and done a complete reinstall of windows. I've also tried turning of my firewall, to no avail, and also reset my router
why would this issue persist?

where did you get the games? some key sites sell stolen game codes.
