Fast enough?

Is Western Digital Caviar Black WD1002FAEX 1TB HDD (64MB Cache, 7200RPM, Sata III) fast ?

yes it is, but dont let the specs fool you, the samsung f3 is faster:

however, it is the fastest, non 2 tb hdd from WD, and is in no way slow, it is actually very fast, just not quite up to the F3/7200.12.
