Fast external storage

I have a yoga 720. It has the following;

Ports
USB Type-C with Thunderbolt™
USB 3.1
2 x USB 3.0

Is there anything on the market today, in thumb drive/stick form factor, that i can plug into one of those ports and achieve greater than or equal to read/write speeds of the internal ssd yoga 720 comes with?

*stick form factor is a requirement because i do tethered shooting. Drive must support its own weight while plugged in. Don't want to deal with another cord.
