Fast Internet but High Ping while Gaming

Hello,
I play League of Legends and Call of Duty Black Ops 4 and my ping sometimes fluctuates between 60-80 which makes it unplayable for me. I know many people will say that 60-80 ping is decent but since I play competitively, it does not feel smooth. When taking a speedtest, my results were 27ms ping, 43.81 mbps Download speed, and 11.97 mbps Upload speed. Why am I getting such high ping?

The server you connect to (the 60-80 ping) is just farther away then the speedtest ping. That is normal.

Edit: like for me my ping to Google.com is 35ms average but to amazon.com its 60ms IT all depends on where you are located and where their servers are located.
