So I have BT Fibre Internet (UK) 50mb/s down and 20mb/s up - or about 6-7mb actual download speed. I've been on this internet for months with no issue.

About a week or two ago everything started to load very slowly. Facebook just doesn't even load, especially not videos or pictures. Youtube videos that I used to stream at 4k/60fps now struggle to load at 480p. Twitch that I used to watch on Source, no struggles on Low. I have tried multiple browsers, and I changed nothing on my PC, it just randomly happened.

I scanned my PC with Malwarebytes and Avira, it found no viruses.

What could be causing this?

Okayz, few things you can try:
1- Try different browsers and see if they all have the same problem
2- If you have antivirus try to disable or exit it then test.
3- Check this link: http://www.cnet.com/how-to/see-which-applications-are-connecting-to-the-internet-on-windows/
as you might have something that consumes your internet. By the way did you try to download anything and see the download speed?

Yes speed test is telling me I'm at my full line speeds.
And it's definitely not hardware :/
