Fast Internet, High Ping slow browsing.

I have absolutely no idea of what to do. I went onto speedtest.net and got 13.4mb/s, but I'm downloading at 50-700 kb/s. Other laptops work perfectly. What is the problem? Nvidia GeForce 840M, i7 2.0 ghz - 2.6 ghz and 4 GB RAM. I think the ram could be the problem. But I have no idea. Help?

The issue is likely to be the computer itself, or it's related components. If it is hard wired to the router, then make sure the ethernet cable itself isn't dodgy.
