I'm in hard dilema of buying SUPER FLOWER GOLDEN GREEN HX SERIES 550W (SF-550P14XE) for 70 euros
and Seasonic M2II Evo 520 for 60 euros
BUT buying the Super Flower from a local store i think would be better incase of warranty issues in the future of sending it back and the time needed for replacement etc...
Both god 5 years warranty both got Japanese capacitors the 30W difference i think it wont be a problem for my build
Whats ur opinion.
Thanks

Thank you i ma de my decision by picking the Super Flower cuz it's available and it's also gold efficiency but in my back of head i have the option that the Seasonic is fully modular 😛

I've heard alot about coil whine and that the fan isn't GREAT with the super-flower supplies though.. Idk, I'd personally chose an XFX or Seasonic supply when possible. XFX is cheap but good quality while Seasonic cannot make a bad supply

Well type seasonic x in google and you'll see many complaints about coil whine in these, also seasonic m12ii and xfx are famous for being loud, super flower leadex and evga supernova g2 are top notch and cheaper than high end seasonic psu

You are right ,i found this Video if u go at 4:57 u can hear him say Capxon the only word that i understand of what he is saying 😀,mmh i might change my decision about which one to get , i'l wait till monday to make my final decision, even with the Capxon Caps both are on Tier 2A List....
Something else , do u think the difference on 12V will affect my current system withQ6600 gtx 570 and future upgrade to 970-980 and i5 4690k?

Well, probably the fact its in tier 2A probably has to do with it not having many reviews and its just there because they are assuming its similar to the regular golden green which has japanese caps, so they probably had no clue it has capxon caps but that's just my thought
its still based on golden green so voltage regulation and ripple should be good but longevity could be a concern, you should have more options to choose besides those two psu

Those 2 are my best options,i started with EVGA 600B,Antec VP600/700, another options was Enermax Naxn 550/650W and even Thermaltake Litepower 600/Smart SE 630W so i think those 2 i am talking about are the best

I'm from Greece,i was thinking to give like 70 euros max for a reliable 550w PSU from THIS Store, the best deal i can get is the XFX pro 750W for 89 euros but i wont SLI... and it's rly annoying when u see XFX TS 550w for 85 and xfx pro 750W for 89 OH COME ON....so the best option from i get is the Super Flower form this store

Well then its up to you, I'd go with seasonic because its cheaper and full modular but that's just me, HX is gold so the price difference should be saved in 5 years though

it's not the price that i concern but the fact that i dont wanna push it to the limit and working on high temps and the fan at high RPM i can see 66W diference and 5.5A at 12V.. i rly like the fact that is modular and lower price also it's a seasonic so u cant go wrong but i'm stilling thinking about the super flower Gold eficiency ,it's from a local store so i can have ASAP support and the difference in 12V as i said above but the only the only drawback is the CAPS but even that it got 5 years warranty if something go wrong i am like 51-49(superflower-seasonic) 😀
