Faster memory, lower CPU benchmark? (Ryzen 7 2700x)

When my memory was running at 2133 15-15-15, my CPU score in Passmark was at 16,700.
Then, I loaded my RAM's XMP profile to get it up to its rated speed of 3200 14-14-14. I did another CPU benchmark test and my score was 16,000 (700 points lower). I repeated the test several times and got similar results.

I know faster memory is supposed to positively impact Ryzen CPUs, so why did I get a drop? Is it because of some secondary timings? Is it because XFR2 boosts my CPU less because of the augmented RAM voltage?

Solution
Well, I figured it out.

I searched online for some tight secondary timings with Samsung B-Die at 3200 14-14-14. I tightened all my secondary timings using a graph someone made using Ryzen Timing Checker, and my score went up to 17600. A whooping 1000 points higher than my original high score.

It seems like secondary ram timings are very important for Ryzen performance.
