faster Pentium M's anytime soon?

Hello! I am curious if anyone knows if there will be any faster Pentium M's anytime soon? I want a Pentium M, but I'd like to have a bit more power than the 1.7 offers, if possible. I'll be doing audio recording on this lappy a lot. Effects eat CPU. thanks!

As far as I know Intel won't be releaseing anything new till they get this 0.09u issue under control.

Yeah I want a P-M style desktop chip as well. But with higher clock, 64 bit extentions and ondie memory controller. I guess we can wait a few years, or buy the A64 today

Yup my guess would be you can count on it. I think Intel will be putting much R+D into this chip in the future.

If I glanced at a spilt box of tooth picks on the floor, could I tell you how many are in the pile. Not a chance, But then again I don't have to buy my underware at Kmart.
