Why we don't buy EVGA FTW ACX 2.0 GTX 970 at 360 USD from Amazon
and
Why we buy GeForce GTX 970 Zotac AMP!Extreme Core 4GB Edition at 470 USD from amazon instead of pay 38 USD more at 508 USD to get a EVGA GTX 980 SC ACX 2.0. from Amazon.

Core 4GB Edition has no much performance increases over EVGA FTW ACX 2.0 GTX 970 with 110 USD extra.

Honestly they're much of a muchness - you may get 5-10% higher clocks on some cards like the g1/amp cards when overclocked but it relates to less than 10fps in games etc.


& you guys are missing the Galax /kfa2 custom cards off these lists anyway - theyre not readily available Inthe USA but are in 90% of Europe & Asia.

Out of the box the Galax hof 970 is the fastest by a loooooong stretch.

It doesnt matter too much the clock speed but instead if you overclock any of the following it should give near identical fps depending on if you got a slightlier luckier or less lucky card.
Msi gaming or 100me
G1 gaming
Zotac amp something mentioned above
Evga super clocked
