Hi! What’s the fastest internal laptop 2.5 inch hard drive(SSHD/HDD only)? Read and write speeds the fastest. Please don’t include like WD velociraptor that’s like $600. I’m looking for atleast 1TB of storage. Thanks!

Samsung 850 evo 1TB is ~ €300,
Crucial MX500 1TB is ~€250.

No HDD or SSHD can compete with those (even your glorified velociraptor) .

You could look at the 2.5" iterations of the FireCuda SSHD. The 1TB model is ST1000LX015, and the 2TB is ST2000LX001. Without going full Solid-State, this is one of the faster laptop solutions around, and comes with a 5 year warranty, which in most other cases you have to go enterprise class to find.
