Fastest k6-3

Hello,
I too have a K6-II 366 with 160M ram running fully updated Windows XP... MOLASSES in WINTER is FASTER... HDD is 60G. I am wanting to swap out the CPU for a multi-core CPU if that is possible... it is a socket-7 motherboard presently. It just is too well preserved (undamaged/unscarred) to throw it away... any suggestion?

Hi

The fastest was a K6-II 450... But they were very rare even years ago.... the 400 was much more common...

And no a multi core wont work, the mobo is just too old...

Try a stripped down version of XP or even 2K if you want it to run well.
