Tom,

Have you seen this movie? Probably so. I found it on DVD in a Chinese shop today.

Typical HK movie but the mj stuff was fun. So funny to see them doing a Charleston! :)

J.R.,

That is the movie I told you about in one of my old emails to you. It
was around the time I was asking you about the latest version of HKMJ.
I told you about it and suggested a tournament to help promote it.
Don't you remember?

Yes, Patrick, I'd remembered but it took until now to locate it.

I thought Tom would be particularly amused by the hands of "American mahjong" because of his involvement in that, though I'm not so sure that a Charleston is performed in
the manner shown.

I've considered buying this: could this be considered a "family"
movie, or is there anything off-color about it? (Of course, if the
family is headed by Ozzie Osborn [sp?]....) I guess from a sort of
"Middle American" cultural perspective.

Well if you watch the DVD on your PC the area code is not a problem.

It's not region-coded.
In Britain, available from specialist suppliers.
Alternatively, www.yesasia.com will ship anywhere, and have very low
prices, it appears.

(Although why you couldn't have spent the same 3 minutes with Google
that I just have, I don't know!)

Thanks to Julian Bradfields info I was able to buy this DVD on the
website he indicated. Nice movie, supposed to be funny (if you have the
right sense of humour ;-), 'kid save'. A must-have!
