[SOLVED] Fat32 or NTFS for Windows 10 Install USB Drive

Having an argument with someone on Facebook about what your USB drive should be formatted to when installing Windows 10 from it.

When I did mine, from the Microsoft website, it used FAT32. But hes telling me that its wrong and that you should format the USB drive to NTFS.

So, what should be used?

If you're installing in UEFI mode, then use fat32.
If you're installing in legacy mode, then you can use ntfs as well.

So we are both right, but dont know it because of that lack of info of not knowing eachothers mode... interesting.

But if windows website gives us fat32, wouldnt that be the higher standard? do more people install with UEFI over Legacy? Orrr vice versa?
