Fatal Error Call of Duty Black ops 2

I have Black ops 2 for PC and I have had it for a while. Today I got curious and wanted to see if there were any sweetfx mods for the game. There was so I tried it out on Multiplayer and private matches and worked perfectly. Then I deleted all the files in my directory and went to run the game. Now it crashes, only on multiplayer, and says "unhandled exception caught". I have already tried reinstalling the game, verifying the files on steam. I don't know what else to do.

Sadly none of the suggestions worked. I have no idea why this would have done this. I bought it on steam and played it for over 200 hours. I will try to figure something out. Thanks for the help.

Whats your cpu,psu,ram and gpu?if i may ask cause i can run it at 4gb ram without any errors.

CPU- Intel i7 4790k
PSU-EVGA 1000w G1
RAM-32gigs Corsair Dominator 2400mhz
GPU-EVGA GTX 980ti

Can't be hardware, I can play any other game I have. I can even play Black ops 2 Zombies. Just not multiplayer since I installed SweetFX. I uninstalled it already and redownloaded to game. Still won't let me play.

Okay so I figured out the problem. For me I went to my main directory and started just deleting folders and files. One at a time I did this and after every time I would delete something I would try to run the game then I would verify the files in Steam. After a couple tries I found that is was either my "Main" or "Player" folders. Course all of my setting were gone, but it is running again. Thanks for the help.
