Fatality Z270 ITX - Power LED blinking when the PC is ON

I have this strange issue with my Power LED since this morning. It blinks all the time in a regular fashion (every 1 sec or so). This was a normal behavior when the PC (Win 10) was in sleep mode, but for some reason it started to blink even though it is turned on.
The MB manual didn't help much. Any idea what I should look for to find the cause of this?

could be a power failure, check your power supply

check if the LED is plugged in tightly
unplug the front panel USB, does it blink anymore?

I am not sure what was wrong. I reset and upgraded BIOS and it all seems to be fine again.

Did you ever solve this? I’m having the same issue with the same motherboard.

this thread was solved by updating the BIOS of the motherboard
