Hi, I am desperately trying to find out what is causing three programs to crash when I attempt to start them.
First it started with the Viveport software. I could never get it to load without crashing immediately. I didn't need viveport for anything so I just forgot about it.
A few weeks went by and I tried installing Oculussetup in an attempt to us Revive. The oculus install app crashes as well.
Now last night I install the Curse.com app so I can use the voice chat with some new friends. The curse app installs but immediately crashes when loading the program.
At this point I begin to get curious, are all three crashes related? Why am I unable to load these programs with a relatively fresh (2 months) windows 10 install.
Well it turns out they all are related. In windows event viewer each crash points to a "faulty module name: wpfgfx_v0400.dll"
Here's an example from event viewer:

HELP! please. I've tried copying the dll from one other computer, a windows 7 computer. But it did not work. I've looked all over the place in an attempt to repair the Microsoft.net framework, also no luck. It appears that .NET is part of windows 10? Does that mean I can't uninstall than reinstall it? Also, is it even a problem with the .DLL itself? or the Path to the .DLL? I'm at a loss and would appreciate any help.
Edit: I should add, I have run sfc /scannow, several times. It always fails to fix something. I'll check now to see if the failed fix is related to the .DLL
