"faulty" device - hearing the "windows plug in and plug out sound"

Hi.
I have laptop LENOVO 3000-N100
it makes the windows sound "plugged in" and "plugged out" every 3 seconds.
which bring me to think that there is a faulty device on the board.

where can I find any log or a program that monitor this kind of events?

Hi, go in the Device Manager, open everything, maybe you will see a yellow flag, it will tell you which device is the problem.
