Hello all, lately I have been having an issue with my GTX 660. I've had the 660 for two years now. This week, games have been stuttering, giving off a buzzing sound, then resuming. With headphones plugged in, it just mutes, and frames stutter. The same happens for videos. So I opened up my computer and dusted everything out. I took out the card and manually q-tipped every fan, windpipe, and used dust remover all around. I also got an air compressor and blew away all the dust. I removed my Hyper 212 heatsync, blew the dust out of it, and reapplied thermal paste to my CPU. I turned it back on it and it was fine. The stuttering on videos and stuff was nonexistent. However, whenever I tried to play BF4 for example, the stuttering continued. I think it only does that under heavy load now. I loaded Furmark, however my card didn't crash, and finished the Benchmark. Also, I removed my Nvidia drivers and was running Intel HD graphics and I had stuttering aswell. So this begs the question, is it still my card after cleaning or is it another component? I ran a Crystalmark on my harddrive, and I ran the Windows RAM analysis on Vengeance RAM sticks, nothing. So, help?
