Hello, my old imac hdd WD Cavair SE sata is faulty and I am planning to replace it with a new one. I found similar hdd WD Cavair Blue, but 2 parameters are different: old one (5VDC - 0.68A, 12VDC - 0.55A) new hdd (5VDC - 0.65A, 12VDC - 0.50A) will this matter and be a potential problem?

Thank you for the reply! The old Wd cavair se uses Sata I interface, I presume the replacement hdd WD cavair blue uses newer Sata interface, is that a potential problem for the early 2008 imac to operate with?

Nope, they are backwards compatible.
