I recently just upgraded my pc to a new motherboard (H110m-k) everything was running almost smooth, then i noticed only 4gbs of ram is getting registered. So i opened my pc up and started to switch my ram sticks to see what was at fault, it turns the fault was on the right one, when I took the stick and put it in the left, my pc turned on but the screen didn't. So i figured it was the stick, but then I put the stick i know works in the right slot, and it didn't work either. So now I was confused as if the stick from before is at fault, the slot or both. So I put the stick that I know works into the left slot and it doesn't boot anymore either. There is this orange pulsating light, does anyone know what's wrong?

EDIT: it works now, just had to press the bottom of the ram a little harder

Reset your bios by either removing the battery and PSU cable or use a jumper to reset bios as described in the manual of the mainboard.
