I assembled a PC for my friend and everything works fine without the GPU, when i plug the GPU and press the power button the lights flashes for one second and the PC shuts off but the GPU works in my computer so im guessing the power supply is faulty but just wanted to make sure with you guys before returning it.

Thanks

What I was trying to get you to do was tell us what your systems spec were so we could try and evaluate if it actually did supply enough power.

Asus maximus hero VI
I5-4670k
Gigabyte GTX 760
Corsair HX 750 Gold
Corsair Vengeance 2X4 GB
1 terabyte
120 GB SSD

That PSU should be enough, if it's new, just return/rma it, cause it does sound faulty, have you tried putting a different graphics card in your friends new system?

I tried his GPU in my computer but didn't try the other way around, he already returned the power supply and the shop told him its working fine so i wanted to check with you guys but i'm pretty sure they didn't test it with something like the PC he has.
