Question Faulty PSU or not?

bios cant detect my hdd when its connected to sata power cable 2 and is so slow in booting up , but when i connect it to sata power cable 1 where my ssd is connected its working fine. is it just a faulty sata power cable or do i need to replace my PSU?

It depends there could be other reasons. Some motherboards disable SATA connections when a particular combination of hardware is installed for example.

everthing was working fine, i was playing game on my pc then suddenly the game crashed and i cant access my storage drive(hdd), when i reboot thats when i found out that my hdd cant be detected

i tried to change the sata data cable and it still cant be detected, but when i tried to connect it to the sata power cable where my ssd is connected it works fine, now im using my pc again with no problems, is it possible that one of the sata power cables have problem while the others are working fine? btw my PSU is corsair vs650
