Hi everyone. So I just built a PC all brand new components but the PSU came with a good hit, I decided to build the PC anyways and when I plug the PCIE cable to the GPU, it will start normal but suddenly shutdown after a few minutes or even seconds not even making it to Windows desktop.
The PC works flawlessly when I unplug the PCIE cable from the GPU, using integrated graphics.
I tested the GPU on another PC and it seems to work fine, so I assumed the PSU is the one at fault and ordered a new one, but now I'm wondering if a faulty PCIE slot could make the PC shutdown suddenly. So my question is, could it be the PCIE slot or is it definitely the PSU?

Edit: I also tested with an RX 6600 ASRock Challenger and the PC still shutdown

Specs:

Ryzen 7 5700G
1x16GB RAM 3200MHz HyperX
RTX 3060 MSI Ventus
B550M Aorus
PSU is a Gigabyte 750w 80+ Gold (came damaged)
M.2 from Kingston (don't remember exact model)

The seller refused to accept a return and just refunded me a fraction of the cost
Never accept packages that came damaged. Also, I do believe that the revised P750GM do not have the exploding issue anymore. But since it was damaged, it may cause issues. Thankfully it didn't explode, otherwise we'd have another debacle.
(PS. Have you tried changing the power cables for the GPU?)

Hi! Yes, I changed the power cables and where I plugged them just in case it was some issue with where I had them plugged initially on the PSU, but the PC still shutdown. The new PSU just arrived so I'm gonna swap it and see if everything works fine
