Hi all I am new on this forum,if some mistake happens in terms of rules sorry for that.

I have corsair RM1000X psu and the problem is that it crashes in games. I am from Pakistan and cannot claim warranty easily so please don't recommend about it.

I used psu and did stress test on furmark both cpu burner and gpu stress at same time to put maximum load but psu worked fine however I noticed that load was not that in this test.

Then I installed two games AC Odyessy and Far Cry 5 psu crashed after playing game for 1 to 2 minutes or sometimes even on loading.

I used another 650W psu and it worked perfectly in games and tests both so it is clear there is problem in psu.

I cannot see any swollen capacitors. Some times it even works good in games but on 99% occasions it crashes in games on heavy load.

Please tell me what can be problem in this psu.

Many thanks in advance

I am not an electrician, I will take it to mechanic and I previously talked to him he said it is very difficult to trace issue since it is neither dead nor burned. So I posted here to get an idea which components can be culprit of this issue?

A lot of things can be the problem. You can't diagnose a specific PSU component simply from generalized symptoms unless you see something obvious like a bulging capacitor. PSUs aren't practically serviceable; the process to determine the precise issue can require specialized equipment and possibly a lot of time, time that will cost a lot more than the worth of the PSU.

The problem is, unless you are an electrician or have the skill set of an electrician, the only possible answer for this question is what you asked us not to tell you.

may be your are right but this psu is also costly rm1000x anyways thank you sir

That it is. I don't know what the PSU costs or how much electricians charge where you are, but here, the price of this PSU costs me the same as two hours of an electrician's services. It doesn't make sense to pay more than the cost of the PSU to repair the PSU.

No, its that much expensive here. Now currently while I am writing this message AC Odyessy is running in background and chrome also uses cpu so there is load on psu. But this thing is really confusing me why it works some times perfectly while crashes other time. IF there are some weak capacitors or transistors it should have crashed all the times.
