Question Faulty ram?

So recently my laptop keeps on crashing randomly and sometimes even says running low on memory. Which is weird. Until recently when the whole laptop suddenly glitched out while I was watching Netflix. I have 2*4 GB RAM installed on this laptop, so I decided to test them one by one. The first ram, I tested, computer boots fine on both slots. But the second RAM, even after putting it in both slots differently, computer does not want to boot. Does this mean the RAM is faulty? Ironically if I plug in the two RAM's control panel says I have 8GB worth of RAM but in Task Manager my free RAM is very very small.

Try running memtest86 on each of your ram sticks, one stick at a time, up to 4 passes. Only error count you want is 0, any higher could be cause of the errors. Remove/replace ram sticks with errors.

I recommend to run the test overnight unless you get errors right away.
