I am trying to install the fax program in XP thru the "add windows
components" of the add/remove program. Everything goes ok until it says it
can't find certail fax files . It says the file are on the windows XP CD so
I insert that and it still can't find them. The "next" prompt is grayed out
so your only option is to cancel. Where do you get these files from and why
aren't they being found on the CD? How can you install if it can't find the
files. One of the files for example is "fxsext.ecf". Is something wrong
that I don't have these files or am I doing something wrong? Thkanks for the
assistance.

If you got Windows with your computer, ask the manufacturer of the
hardware for ehlp with this. Fax may not be included in your version
of Windows.
