Faxing wrong paper size.

I recently replaced a users fax machine with another model. I tested it out by faxing our main building just to make sure the fax would get through, it faxed fine but whenever I use the auto tray (Feeder), the fax on the recieving end is legal.

So basically whenever the user faxes the receiving unit thinks it is a legal size document and prints it as such. Ive adjusted all of the setting related to paper and cant seem to come up with a solution....

Any suggestions?

Also is it possible to have the rollers wearing out? Causing it to maybe skip over a few parts of the paper and report that it is faxing a paper type larger than letter?

Rollers can wear out but that won't cause the paper size issue, it would jam or slide the paper sideways. Is there another machine you can fax to for another test?
