A Dell Inspiron 530a or 530c desktop doesn't require FB (fully buffered) or ECC DDR2. Can I use FB ECC RAM in it?
I find that is somewhat cheaper on eBay than RAM without those features. I mention the a or c model because unlike the rest of the 530 series those two can take up to 8 gig and a Core 2 Quad CPU. (Already have a Quad and 4 gig in it.)
