FDF is brilliant

I've been playing around with the new FDF version. Man, that mod is
brilliant, isn't it?

They've added some nice touches over the last version. I was noticing the
sound tonight. They've changed and upgraded several sounds and did a
fantastic job. The helo's sound awesome. I like the new explosion sounds,
and the new explosion effects are great.

How come this mod has these nice explosion effects with trailing smoke up
into the air and fire burning, giving me no lag what-so-ever, and ECP lags
like a sonofagun.

Oh yeah! FDF incorporated smoke grenades that actually work against the AI!
Awesome.

I always used to ditch my default smoke grenades as an officer the first
chance I got. Now that they work like they're supposed to (the AI can't
"see through" the smoke anymore), we're talking about a whole new ballgame.

Kudos to those Finnish dudes. Great freakin' mod. No lag. Nice effects.
Nice sounds. Nice under-the-hood adjustments. And, no lag.

I think FDF is probably the best mod out there.

im impressed with the HALO units and their moveable parachutes. i
would love to see them used.
